Tuesday, November 7, 9:00 am – 12:00 noon
at The State Bar of Wisconsin
WILMIC’s 2017 Fall Seminar will feature a presentation by Caryn Sullivan, a Minnesota attorney and nationally recognized author and speaker on overcoming adversity. Attorney Sullivan will explore how some of life’s biggest challenges create change both negative and positive, and how attorneys who help their clients through these challenges can promote more positive outcomes. The legal “problem” is rarely the only one and the legal “solution” is rarely the end of the story.
Joining Attorney Sullivan are three Wisconsin lawyers whose clients are among the most vulnerable: Family law attorney Gregg Herman; personal injury attorney Chris Rogers; and criminal law attorney Steve Meyer. The speakers will explore how choices, expectations, communication, participation, accountability, and perspective can influence the outcome of a difficult situation and the client’s evaluation of the assistance provided by the lawyer.
The half-day, three-hour program will be held at The State Bar of Wisconsin, 5302 Eastpark Blvd., in Madison on Tuesday, November 7, from 9:00 am – 12:00 Noon. Attend in-person or watch the live webcast online.
